Join us for a 5k run or 1-mile walk in scenic Waunakee on June 6th, 2026 (virtual option available)
Join us for our third annual Ada’s Forever 5k benefitting our non-profit, Ada’s Spark. We will be honoring Ada on the weekend of what would have been her 8th birthday by running/walking either 5k or 1 mile around our beautiful Waunakee neighborhood followed by family-friendly activities.
When: June 6, 2026 at 9:30 am (all events start)
Where: Tierney Park in Waunakee, WI (or virtual!)
What: Run/walk either 5k or 1 mile, both ending at Tierney Park for post-run/walk activities & snacks
$35/ adult or $15/ child (under 18).
*REGISTRATION CLOSES May 15* (You may register after this date, but you may not get a shirt.)
All proceeds will go toward Ada’s Spark’s mission of funding childhood cancer research, advocating for equitable access to care, and providing compassionate support, as we strive to honor Ada’s memory by igniting positive change and fostering resilience in the face of adversity.
Please note:
This is NOT a race- There won’t be timing chips or bibs, but with your ticket purchase, considered a tax-deductible donation to our 501(c)(3) organization, you’ll receive a commemorative t-shirt and enjoy a morning honoring Ada with us and family-friendly activities.
You will be running/ walking at your own risk. Official medical support will not be available but we will have medically-trained participants at the event (and first aid kits for minor injuries). This is an open-traffic event. The course will be on sidewalks and trails, but there will be occasional street crossing. Volunteers will be around to assist runners/ walkers and to make traffic aware of the event.
We’re thrilled to raise funds for childhood cancer patients and research, as well as to connect with the community that has shown Ada’s family tremendous support. If you want to volunteer, offer supplies/in-kind donations, donations for the silent auction, run it virtually in your local community, or be a featured sponsor or can’t afford tickets please reach out!
